Let me show you a most wonderful technique that adds depth and uniqueness to your doll's faces. Needle-felting has taken the world of dollmaking by the hand and we've all become enamoured with the natural faces you can achieve with it.
In this workshop you will learn to construct a face entirely in wool with dry-felting techniques.
You have already paid a deposit on this workshop, so this is the balance due on your tuition. Please note there are two dates available, so please choose the one according to the date you will be attending, as agreed in previous correspondence.
In April you will receive a file with "Doll-Making Homework" as well as a list of tools you will need, as I require you to come with part of the work done at home. This homework will include step-by-step directions and photographs to create the base form of the doll's head and we will proceed to add all the details during the workshop.
You will go home with a detailed file on how to cover your doll's face in fabric, as I am not sure given the time constraints we will be able to fully cover the doll's face during the workshop.
Please know you are not allowed to take photos or videos during this workshop, as I need your full attention. I hope that my guidance helps further you on your doll making journey and that you go back home ready to create, move forward and fill this world with the softness and tenderness of wooly souls.
Thank you for entrusting me with your time and attention. It is my hope that my outlook on doll making not just teaches you something new, but that it inspires you to dive within and create from a place of love for this most wonderful art medium.
