Doll Head Mobility Workshop

Do you want to learn how to give your dolls more expression and play value by allowing their little heads to move in all directions? Are you finally ready to explore more movement on your dolls?

Adding movement to the doll's head is one of the trickiest because...how do you cover it? How do you make it move in a stable and sturdy way? How can you achieve a swivel/up and down/to the sides, etc movement...without cotter pins, plastic joints, disc joints, ball joints...?

This workshop will teach you a technique I developed for my dolls back in 2018. I experimented extensively with this over the years, and now I am very happy to share it with you. I teach this workshop once a year, so I hope you can join us!

The workshop will take place over two days, July 25th & 26th. Each day will take about 2 to 3 hours of your time, as the workshops are live with NO REPLAYS available. The time zone for the workshops is EDT and they will start on both days at 1 PM (Toronto time).

To take this workshop, you will have homework to prepare, plus the list of materials required will be sent to you upon enrolment.

The day before the workshop, you will receive a link and password to join via Zoom.

I consider this workshop suitable for intermediate dollmakers who already know how to sculpt doll faces with needle-felting techniques and have their own pattern to use later on to assemble their doll completely.

If you are a beginner, this workshop will not be of good use to you. Instead, I advise you to learn with my dollmaking courses or e-books.
